Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema has thanked the supporters for the encouragement they gave the football team ahead of their latest win.
The White King defeated Paris Saint-Germain 3-1 in the Champions League round of 16 second leg. On Wednesday, aggregate of two games, Los Blancos advanced to the next round with a score of 3-2 on aggregate.
After the game, Benzema the French forward, who scored a hat-trick in Real Madrid’s win over PSG, said it was a victory the team deserved as everyone did not give up and played to the supporters’ support.
“We need fans and this is a gift for them. It’s a very difficult game. But we pushed until the end of the game and deserved to win. We lost the first match. They were UFABET leading 1-0 but our fans took turns for us to give our all until the end of the game.
“In the first game we have to say we were lucky to lose 1-0, but we know it will be different in Madrid. We pushed, conceded, but remained confident we had a chance.
“It wasn’t a mistake [Gianluigi Donnarumma’s], it was pressure from the whole team. The goalkeeper waited and waited. He lost the ball and it was the goal. He should have extracted it, as simple as that.”
