England striker Harry Kane believes the most important thing is to get the win he wants. The Three Lions beat Serbia 1-0 in their opening Euro 2024 Group C football game on Sunday. With the Three Lions next in action against Denmark on June 20.

After the game, Kane told BBC Sport that the game was as difficult as expected. Especially in the second half, but everyone in the team did well and ended up winning.UFABET  

“We knew it was going to be a tough game. Serbia are very aggressive and have good players in the team,” the England captain said.

“We will fight for you (the fans) and I thought we dealt with it really well. There were moments in the second half where we were in the box and it was difficult to fix that. But tonight it was an important win.

“It was a tough game, they are a strong team with good players. We fought well and it’s good to get three points, it’s a step forward (for the team). It’s good to get the win today.”

“We were in a very difficult group this time but credit to everyone. We knew we had what it takes to win and we did,” the former Tottenham Hotspur striker said.
