Manchester City have confirmed that Pep Guardiola has signed a new two-year contract until 2027.

The 53-year-old’s current deal is set to expire at the end of the season. And will keep him at the club for the rest of the decade.
It had been speculated that Guardiola would leave his post at the end of the season. With sporting director Txiki Begiristain confirmed to be leaving the club, with Hugo Viana taking over.
However, the club have now announced that Pep has signed a new contract, ending speculation that he will step down.
Guardiola takes up his post at The Citizens joined the Citizens in 2016. And have won a host of trophies including six Premier League titles and the 2023 Champions League.
He previously managed Barcelona for four years and three seasons with Bayern Munich. But is now into his ninth season in charge of City. City sit second
in the Premier League after 11 games and are five points behind Liverpool. But have suffered a run of four straight defeats in all competitions.
They are back in action on Saturday when they take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
